Beni​

Beni is a traditional Japanese lip pigment made from safflower petals, historically used as a cosmetic and colorant in Japanese art and textiles. I painted the safflower plant using authentic beni, a rare and valuable material kindly provided by the Beni Museum in Tokyo.
