Cape Higuer Lighthouse, in the border between Spain and France, symbolized the end of the first stage of my journey. After crossing the demanding Basque mountains as a complete beginner in cycle touring, it was time to set off on Stage 2: from the Atlantic Coast to the Mediterranean Sea.
