Osh Bazaar is probably the busiest place in Bishkek. While I was painting in a corner, the sellers smiled at me and were very kind, so I thanked them with a quick sketch of them at their stalls.
Both the men’s hats and the women’s headscarves have a lot of character, so I quickly sketched them while riding the bus.
During one of the lunch stops, a group of children enthusiastically gathered around and brought bread, tea, and yogurt. To thank them for their hospitality, we drew together and sketched their portraits.
