I stopped at a supermarket to buy some food when Salome, a girl from Lentekhi, approached me and gave me a bunch of wildflowers. We sat together and drew them.
I painted a watercolor of the hostel where I lived for a month in Tbilisi. It was a wonderful surprise to see it framed.

Niko Pirosmani’s black backgrounds were an inspiring discovery, so I practiced them with colored pencils at the museum.
While enjoying traditional Georgian khachapuri, I listened to local musicians and sketched them as they played.
