Bermeo Blue
Paint color for fishing boats
Bermeo is a fishing town with a color associated with its name: Bermeo Blue. Traditionally used to paint Basque fishing boats, it is an industrial marine paint sold in large cans, making it impractical for a sketchbook. After speaking with a very friendly local paint seller, I looked up its CMYK values and mixed my watercolors to match the color as closely as possible.
